A TV campaign for one of the original backup mediums — the Iomega Zip Disk. The notion of backing up your computer to avoid a catastrophic loss wasn’t nearly so well known then as it is now.
The North Face
The North Face made expedition-tested gear used by elite explorers. But they needed to sell it to a much more mainstream audience. So we created an aspirational campaign that let readers imagine themselves in the ice-cleated shoes of extreme adventurers — even if they never ventured further than the mall.

Gary Fisher Bikes
Gary Fisher was one of the pioneers of mountain biking. But larger, deeper-pocketed companies were trying to corner the market by mass-producing knock-off bikes in China. So we launched a campaign which positioned Gary as the antithesis of the big, corporate bicycle company executive.
